New York’s fall 2019 shows officially start on Thursday with Tom Ford returning to kick off the season with an event Wednesday night. If it’s anything like his pre-show last season we expect fireworks.
Other great news is the return of Helmut Lang. The brand last presented in September 2017 under guest designer Shayne Oliver and editor-in-residence Isabella Burley. This season, Alix Browne, the founding editor of V Magazine – will take the helm and debut a Fall 2019 collection on February 11th.

Designers we’ve come to miss are Public School and Alexander Wang who are still presenting off calendar. Also Calvin Klein has opted to skip fashion week post split with Raf Simons. And Rodarte who made a fashion week comeback on the Spring 2019 calendar instead revealed their Fall 2019 collection in Los Angeles last evening.

In other news, Palm Angels jumps from Milan to New York, the high octane sport wear brand will show their Fall 2019 collection on Friday. And Longchamp, another European brand, returns to New York and will present their collection on Saturday. The classy fashion house made a huge splash last season with their bohemian cowgirl collection.

Designers we are looking forward to are sustainable fashion ateliers Mara Hoffman, The Row and Christopher John Rogers. We are also excited for the elegant resort style designs by Cushnie and Kate Spade.
