Tuesday, October 23rd 2018, Stephanie Phair, Chairman of the British Fashion Council (BFC), Nadja Swarovski, Member of the Swarovski Executive Board and Caroline Rush, Chief Executive of the British Fashion Council announced the nominations for The Fashion Awards 2018 in partnership with Swarovski at a press screening at Soho House, 76 Dean Street, London.
The list of nominees are primarily recurring names, new to the list are Adut Akech for Model of the Year, Natalia Alaverdian and Sofia Prantera for Emerging Talent Women’s wear, and Marine Serre for the newly created design category Urban Luxe.

Also new to the BFC award ceremony is a program titled NEW WAVE: Creatives. It is a selection of 100 talented individuals recognized by the BFC as some of the most innovative and inspiring creatives around the world. The 100 NEW WAVE: Creatives awardees are selected via an election process by 2000 members of the international fashion community that make up the Fashion Awards voting panel. Among the 100 NEW WAVE: Creatives are image-makers, hair and makeup artists, set designers, creative directors, models, digital influencers and stylists.

The winners in each category for the 2018 BFC awards will be announced on Monday, December 10th during The 2018 Fashion Awards ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall. See the video for a complete list of nominees or check the list just below.
