Last November Beyoncé created a buzz about a mysterious and very intriguing fashion collaboration with billionaire retail kingpin and Topshop owner Sir Philip Green. And finally Beyoncé has formally announced- in Beyoncé fashion, the details about the project titled Ivy Park, a new activewear brand sold through Topshop.

In a statement released today, Beyoncé has specified that the partnership is a “stand-alone brand.” They’re both co-owners of the label, which will be available in the U.S. at Topshop, Net-a-Porter, and Nordstrom on April 14. Bey revealed the news to her legions of fans via Instagram.

On the designs Beyoncé explains that “work out clothes” dominate her wardrobe due to her busy lifestyle but she’s found the options available uninspiring. Her goal with Ivy Park is to “push the boundaries of the athletic wear and to support and inspire women who understand that beauty is more than your physical appearance.”

Sir Philip Green explained that the project has been in the works for 18 months and believes, “this is just the beginning” of their partnership.

A video released today by Beyoncé provides a glimpse into the collection. We await eagerly at the desktop, credit card in hand, for when the full collection drops April 14th.
