The next time you step into your favorite coffee shop for your morning paper, a power chat, and your double espresso, your java might come in a cup made from coffee, aka the HuskeeCup. The HuskeeCup is a reusable and recyclable ceramic coffee cup made from discarded husks of the coffee plant.

It is chip and crack resistant, it’s comfortable to hold and it keeps your coffee hotter, longer. And it’s an elegant and attractive design made from reclaimed waste material from the production of coffee. According to an EPA report, Americans produce around 100 million tons of paper and plastic waste annually. The HuskeeCup aims to deliver our shot of java and save the environment.

The HuskeeCup design comes in a cafe range of sizes. Including a 6 oz, 8 oz and 12 oz cup, with a saucer that matches them all. It is also dishwasher friendly making them perfect for home use as well. And there is a new travel lid.

If we use coffee husks from every coffee farm in the world we’d save millions in tons of wastes every year.

The HuskeeCup is available for wholesale and retail purchases now.
