As part of the new London Fashion Week program, the British Fashion Council (BFC) will relaunch with a Positive Fashion initiative designed to celebrate industry best practice to create positive change.
The new London Fashion Week shows and events will open to both the trade and public audience. It will be the place where guests discover new sustainable brands and progressive designers. There will be compelling stories and lively talks about how the fashion industry can be used as a force for change.
The new Positive Fashion initiative is led by three pillars: Sustainability, Equality & Diversity, and Craftsmanship & Community. BFC & London Fashion Week invite designers to tell their story, showcase how products are made and bring their brands to life for a trade and public audience.

The London Fashion Week program will extend beyond the fashion hub offering city-wide events. The BFC curated the schedule in partnership with key retailers, cultural institutions, and brands to engage communities throughout the capital.
The aim is to inspire young people and make LFW a cultural city-wide celebration. In addition LFW hopes to introduce fashion to a wider pool of people who may not understand the opportunities the industry holds.
This is a developing story. We will continue to follow the progress and report more information as it is made available.
