Last February for fall 2019 Arthur Arbesser presented a fashion assemblage of stylish separates in unique fabrics. The textile innovator sourced artisanal craftsmakers to create silk jacquard and hand woven organic cotton wool from a centuries old textile factory in Europe.
In the Arthur Arbesser fall 2019 fashion show review, I noted “the natural materials, feminine designs and high quality craftsmanship triggered a strong, bourgeois mood”. And for the fall 2019 campaign the rich textiles are rightly placed on display.

Austrian designer Arthur Arbesser turned to Viennese fabric mill Backhausen for his textiles. Backhausen craftsmanship dates back over 165 years and 7 generations. The family owned company has a rich history dedicated to ‘the art of weaving’.

For the Arthur Arbesser fall 2019 campaign the textile innovator focused on his cotton suiting and fluid silk dresses. Also on display are the architectural accessories by returning designer Nathalie Jean.
