20 Fashion Brands Presenting Design Installations & Home Collections During Milan Design Week.

During Milan Design Week fashion brands like Armani and Fendi unveil their latest home collections while experimental designers like Marni and Stone Island set up installations mixing fashion and design together. Below are 20 fashion brands presenting something new at Milan’s Salone del Mobile design fair.

COS

Cos collaborates with artist Arthur Mamou-Mani on a high tech, material innovative, design installation. Cos presents the FuoriSalone series (outside the main pavilion) in the gardens of a 16th century palace in the heart of Milan. The installation is on show from April 9th to the 14th at Palazzo Isimbardi in Corso Monforte, 35.

Marni

Marni presents a furniture collection titled Moon Walk created in collaboration with Colombian artists. The FuoriSalone collection is on show from April 11th to the 14th, free entrance, from 10am to 8pm, at the Marni boutique in Viale Umbria, 42.

Longchamp

Longchamp presents a new objects series in homage to Longchamp’s foldable Le Pliage handbag. The FuoriSalone installation created in collaboration with Nendo features everyday design objects inspired by the ancient Japanese art of origami. The installation is on display from April 8th to the 14th, free entrance, from 11am to 5pm, at the Longchamp boutique in Via della Spiga.

Stone Island

Stone Island presents their fourth annual Prototype Research series. The experimental project features garments designed with innovative technologies and fabric treatments. The FuoriSalone installation is on display April 9th to the 14th, free entrance, at Via Salone 54 in Milan’s fashion and design district.  

Canada Goose

Canada Goose presents an innovative art installation in collaboration with designer Kouichi Okamoto where water reveals a hidden message written in hydrochomatic ink. The FuoriSalone art work titled Vernissage – 50 Words for Rain by Kouichi Okamoto is on show from April 9th to the 14th, free entrance, at Via Savona, 37 in Milan’s fashion and design district.

Giorgio Armani

ARMANI / CASA presents their new 2019 collection from April 9th to the 14th, free entrance, from 10am to 8pm at the Armani Casa boutique in Via Bergognone, 59.

Etro

Etro presents a new Etro Home Interiors and Etro Home Accessory collection from April 9th to the 14th at Salone del Mobile in Hall 4, stand C12. The FuoriSalone Etro Home collection is on show from April 9 to the 14, free entrance, from 10am to 8pm at the Etro Home boutique in Via Pontaccio, 17 (adjacent to Vicolo Fiori).

Fendi

Fendi Casa presents a new home collection from April 9th to 14th at Salone del Mobile in Hall 7, stand C25. The FuoriSalone Fendi Casa collection titled Back Home in collaboration with designer Cristina Celestino is a special new decor project in homage to the iconic Pequin motif introduced by Fendi in 1987. The Back Home collection is on show from April 10th to the 13th, free entrance, from 10am to 8pm at the Fendi Casa boutique in Via Solari, 35.

Isaia

Isaia Home presents a new, exclusive ceramic plates collection handmade and painted using traditional Italian methods handed down throughout the generations. The FuoriSalone installation is on show from April 8th to the 14th, free entrance, from 10am to 7pm at the Isaia boutique in Via Verri, 8.

Laura Biagiotti

Laura Biagiotti Home presents a special Monogram collection from April 9th to the 14th at Salone del Mobile in Hall 4, stand L02.

Brunello Cucinelli

Brunello Cucinelli displays their new Linea Lifestyle Brunello Cucinelli collection on April 14th at the Brunello Cucinelli boutique in Via Montenapoleone, 27/c. (Invitation Only)

LOUIS VUITTON

Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades is a travel inspired objects collection created in collaboration with international designers: Atelier Biagetti, Atelier Oï, Marteen Baas, Barber&Osgerby, Campana Brothers, André Fu, Damien Langlois-Meurinne, India Mahdavi, Nendo, Gwenaël Nicolas, Raw Edges, Patricia Urquiola, Marcel Wanders, Tokujin Yoshioka, Zanellato/Bortotto. The FuoriSalone exhibit is on show from April 9th to the 10th, free entrance, from 11am to 8pm, then from April 11th to the 14th, from 10am to 8pm in Corso Venezia, 16.

MISSONI

Missoni Home presents the Panoramas collection from April 9th to the 14th at Salone del Mobile in Hall 24, stand B21-c14. Missoni’s FuoriSalone Striped Mosaic exhibit is on show from April 9th to the 14th, free entrance, from 11am to 9:30pm at the Missoni Home Showroom in Viale Elvezia, 22.

TRUSSARDI

Trussardi Casa presents a new home collection from April 9 to the 14th at Salone del Mobile in Hall 7, stand C22.

VERSACE HOME

The new Versace Home Collection is an exclusive installation presentation created by New York based interior designer Sasha Bikoff in collaboration with Andy Dixon, a Canadian artist based in LA. Visits require registration on www.versace.com. There is limited capacity, the collection is on show from April 10th to the 14th, from 5pm to 8pm in Via Gesù, 12.

BORSALINO

Borsalino and Momenti present a new graphic carpet collection focused on symbolic shapes. The designs are on show from April 8th to the 13th, free entrance, from 10am to 7pm at the Borsalino boutique in Via Sant’ Andrea, 5.

LAURA STRAMBI

Laura Strambi BB presents the Le Turban Bio exhibit, from tradition to fashion. The presentation showcases handmade Benin turbans re-imagined by designer Laura Strambi. The collection is on show from April 9th to the 14th, free entrance, from 4:30pm to 8:30pm in Foro Bonaparte, 63.

PAULA CADEMARTORI

Paula Cademartori hosts Bitossi Home and Funky Table for the third consecutive year for Milan Design Week. The new B-LOOM project features a selection of decorative home accessories including novelties from La Tavola Scomposta. The FuoriSalone exhibit will be on show from April 9th to the 14th, free entrance, from 6pm to 10pm at the Paula Cademartori boutique in Via Santa Marta, 14.

ISSEY MIYAKE

Issey Miyake is set to reveal the secret “Journey of a Raindrop – the strange attraction of water” installation created in collaboration with artist Jólan van der Wiel on Tuesday, April 9th, from 6 -9 pm. (Invitation only)

DONDUP

Dondup presents a new sustainable denim design installation called Dondup D/Zero Denim. The denim sculptures will be on show from April 9th to the 14th, free entrance, from 10am to 7:30pm at the Dondup boutique in Via della Spiga 50.
