Church’s introduced a new leather quality for Fall/ Winter 2019-20.  The texture has the superior look of the traditional ‘Saffiano’ leather patented by design house Prada. However it is not just the grain of the leather, the shoe designs this season were adapted to be more lightweight.

Church’s produced four different styles, each has matching leather accessories to go with this wonderful texture leather.

The standout stylish and innovative design was the Shanghai series which was inspired by the British empire.  The distressed leather and retro boot design of that era with the modern figures of a side zip and cross-over buckle made me stop in my tracks. I thought of the fact at one time the sun never set on the British Empire and this was a perfect shoe for both day wear and night.

The casual sneakers reminded me of the classic Adidas blue track trainers circa the 1970’s.  I was happy to see that inspiration.

The shoes and boots you’d need for dress as well as casual are in the Alpine series.  They have an extra thick rubber sole which is important for cold weather climate that will keep your feet warm and stylish. The black boot with the mid-calf buckles are made of soft leather and an extra row of rubber insole adds to the warmth of this shoe.

The Church’s collection for Autumn/Winter 2019 was progressive, innovative, stylish, and I felt that every man would find something to wear with the only problem being choosing what to select.
