The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode brings together fashion brands from around the world and they are more committed than ever to foster the next generation of creative brands. The most recent design initiatives announced are New Now which offers extra visibility to emerging brands and the Designers Apartment which selects ten young talents each season to show their creativity and their fashion vision inside a shared showroom in The Palais de Tokyo.
The latest news from the Fédération are the high fashion brands returning to the Paris Fashion Week Men’s schedule. Hedi Slimane’s Celine will show for it’s second season, as well as the newly launched menswear brand for Jacquemus.
Heron Preston will open the Paris Men’s schedule, the Italy-based designer’s collection is one of the most anticipated shows this season.

Unfortunately the Fédération hasn’t released anything new regarding sustainability in menswear design. This is a missed opportunity to promote their commitment to new brands AND to protecting the environment. Hopefully they will make up for the absence during the Women’s Fashion Week season in March.
