Earlier this month Thom Browne opened a second boutique in Miami’s popular downtown area. The sleek new space features interior designs upcycled from mid-century American and French designers including Pierre Jeanneret, Dunbar by Edward Wormley, Paul McCobb, Jacques Adnet, and Maison Jansen.

Thom Browne collaborated with architect Flavio Albanese of ASA Studio Albanese on the newly opened store located within the Moore Building of Miami’s innovative Art & Design District. The 3,000 square foot outpost neighbors some of Miami’s most prominent art galleries, restaurants and luxury retail boutiques.
…i am excited for my store in Miami…the design district feels right and feels special and unique within the city…i felt it was important to be part of the design district because of the importance that the area places on art…and my approach to the design of the store is unique to Miami…my grey tile box…i felt the design district deserved a unique retail experience…

Behind Browne’s signature slat blind covered windows, the grey subway tile-wrapped boutique features a mobile wall installation that can be shifted to visually transform the space.

The new retail outlet offers the brand’s signature made-to-measure and tailored offerings and an assortment of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear apparel including designs from the recent Spring 2019 collection. The selection considered natural and breathable fabrics such as seersucker, linen, and lightweight wool fresco perfect for Miami’s temperate climate.

Thom Browne was the first US-based designer¹ to use Woolmark’s cool wool-certified textiles- a high tech, lightweight wool fiber made especially for warmer climates.
Woolmark, a champion of natural fiber, collaborated with Thom Browne for two seasons developing the cool wool-certified fabric for his collections.
