According to WWD, Evian hires Off-White founder and Louis Vuitton Menswear creative director Virgil Abloh for a newly created position as the Creative Adviser for Sustainable Innovation Design. The new position is part of Evian’s committment to a circular design model by 2025. According to the press release, Virgil Abloh will develop circular design projects for the water company. Evian has already announced Abloh’s first product. A stylish, limited-edition water bottle made from recycled plastic.

In addition to developing circular design products Abloh will “use his wide-scale platform to engage his massive social media audience to raise awareness around the importance of innovation in design and sustainability” according to an Evian representative.
Abloh’s first Evian product will drop during fashion week next February.
