FKA Twigs Takes Home The Webby Award For Digital Beauty Magazine AVANTGARDEN.

In 1996 The Webbys first presented awards under the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) consisting of a a 2000+ member judging body.

22 years later the Webby award are the Internet’s ‘highest honor” as stated by the New York Times and every online magazine in the world hopes for a nomination, including The Fashion Plate.



Each year the Webby Awards honors a recipient with special achievement recognition for contributions to digital culture. FKA Twigs, our long time music girl-crush, received recognition for her Instagram beauty magazine AvantGarden and for “constantly using the Internet to create and distribute experimental new art”.


Other winners include Naomi Wadler, Jessie Williams, Deray McKesson, Brittany Packnett, Dylan Marron, Swizz Beats, Liz Plank, Madison Utendahl, and Jimmy O’Yang.
