Every Paris Fashion Week just seems to be another win upon win for Mr. Virgil Abloh, as his highly influential brand Off-White continues to outdo itself even when you’ve thought it couldn’t anymore. For this Spring 2019 women’s wear collection Abloh took his sought after Nike collaboration and built a whole show out of it, doing exactly the most logical next move with the collab.
Although this collection was much more than just an Off-White Nike collaboration it was an empowering statement for women specifically in sports as 10 superstar athletes walked the runway accompanied by top name celebrity models.
A charming presentation of athleisure, Abloh finds an elegant way to mix both high fashion formal garments with sportswear. The color palette consists of primarily white, neon green, and a frost blue. Various Nike and Off-White logos stray in all directions around the pieces followed by some snakeskin prints coming in neon yellow.
For all fans of Abloh’s movement and those athletes looking to advance their personal wardrobes, the collection is a can’t miss.
