Classic, enchanting, and organic: Antonio Croce’s Spring/Summer 2019 fashion show held in the outdoor garden of Milan’s “I Chiostri di San Barnaba” was spiritual to say the least. The show was titled “Mirabilia” which translates to “Marvels” in English — and marveling it was. The environment was decorated by displays of exclusive Antonio Croce fragrances and artisanal Italian chocolates.

The show then kicked off with an all cream colored outfit, consisting of a trench coat with golden strands of wheat curling around the collar and a see-through fanny pack filled with flower buds and trimmed with additional wheat.

Earth green, lux gold, and timelessly smooth black and whites built up the majority of the color palette, while doses of a complimentary red were intertwined within the collection. Garments stayed rather classical as assorted blazers, trousers, and dresses were the predominant canvases. But don’t let that fool you, as the technical features and constructions brought all the magic.

Flashes of shiny dots, the ever so elegant wheat embroideries, a see-through synthetic add flavor to the clothing. Not to mention some amusing accessories, like the fanny packs mentioned previously and general-esc hats to compliment the military pockets featured on many of the jackets.

Dresses made for a sleeping beauty and suits fit for a boss, Croce fused military with elegance and made it magical.
