A cool summer breeze seems to be the mood of the Ports 1961 Spring/Summer 2019 collection. Fusing calls of Bohemian and sartorial-ism, creative director Natasha Cagalj kept the show elegant and refreshing.
Standout pieces include an asymmetrical beige cape paired with sneakers reminiscent of a Yeezy 350 but embellished with an assemblage of shoelaces, as well as a plaid, multi-colored trench coat.
As far as technical aspects go, some key ingredients of the collection appear to be loose knits, swarms of fringes, lightweight cotton based fabrics, plaids, stripes, and an overall relaxed silhouette. A personal favorite of mine being the black top and trousers, covered in vertical rose vines and green stripes.

Clothing perfect for your tropical getaways or traveling coasts in those high temperatures. While Summer has just ended in Europe and the United States, it looks like Ports 1961 is giving us all a last little taste of how pleasurable it is before the cold air begins to roll through.
