As one of the most promising and highly anticipated young brands of New York, Sies Marjan revealed what I might say is their most finely tuned collection yet. Unlike previous collections (Fall/Winter 2018 for example) this one did not rely so heavily on the brand’s unique ability to blend color palettes, rather it communicated more so through designer Sander Lak’s construction of the garments themselves.

Featured are an array of tailored suits, light dresses, trench coats, and plastic-like skirts. Trench coats kept a military inspired shape and suits primarily unstructured. One standout aspect being a vibrant city print intertwined with bursts of magenta and blue, reminiscent of a New York City skyline at sundown.

Others being a metallic like texture used in various gold and blue pieces, as well as some ruffled fabrics that flow quite gracefully. While the collection was not as vivid as the others, it is refined nonetheless and flattering to a woman of maturity.

If you’ve been a fan of Sies Marjan but always wanted something with a bit more calmness, here’s a collection you can rep New York fashion with and walk around the streets in.
