I don’t hate seeing men wear letterman shirts at upscale parties, I’m just surprised. Letterman shirts are hot in a way, they give off this team captain vibe I can appreciate.

The varsity letter appliqué is traditionally reserved for sport jackets, but lately men have been opting for the letterman style on dress shirts or silk bomber jackets and wearing them at night.

For example actor Jiang Jinfu (Forever Young) sported one at the Hogan cocktail party in Milan. Jiang styled the contemporary dress shirt with classic denim and the new Hogan sneakers. And while I don’t see this as a night time look, I have to admit he looks good!
