The invisible man of fashion staged what amounts to an autobiographical takeover of the Musée Galliera in Paris with a Maison Martin Margiela retrospective. The exhibition is officially a place of revelation for students, designers and serious fashion inflencers who worship the Margiela collections by the unknown mastermind between 1989 and 2009.
Case in point, Grown-ish actor Luka Sabbat who attended Paris Fashion Week earlier this month and managed time between RTW shows and a constant string of Instagram video complaints regarding french cuisine and his inevitable weight gain to attend the Margiela retrospective.
The 19 year old artist, who grew up in the fashion industry and whose character on the hit sitcom Grown-ish interns at Teen Vogue, reviewed the entire exhibition placing one or two word captions on images he took with his iPhone.

His review amounts to about 25 slides and includes shade to fashion heavy weight Demna Gvasalia who worked at Margiela prior to starting his own fashion line, Vetements. Demna is also the new creative director of Balenciaga.

Demna is fashion’s latest darling and has been celebrated as having revolutionized the fashion world, shaking up the static design aesthetic.
Let’s just say after this review, you might just change your mind about that.
