LeBron James Donates All Funds From His New Socially-Conscious Sneakers To The Smithsonian National Museum Of African American History and Culture.

The Lebron James “Equality” sneakers in collaboration with Nike first made national news when the basketball star wore them when he played basketball in Trump’s backyard back in December.  And while some people on the news didn’t take it well, James refused to back down. In fact, now he’s hosting a raffle to give away 400 pairs of the new LeBron 15 “Equality,” sneaker that previously was only available to James himself.

The best part is that both Nike and LeBron have decided to donate all entry fees—$10 a pop after the first one—to the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. So when you buy into the raffle, you’re not just helping your chances at getting a pair—you’re making a donation to a worthy cause. Which is not something you usually get to do when shelling out for top-shelf kicks.

Available via raffle at Nike
