Christian Louboutin Made Those Sexy Boots For Halpern Fall/ Winter 2018-19 At London Fashion Week.

If you were floored by the Halpern collection, like most of us, you had to have wondered where the ultra-sexy footwear came from. So did we. And imagine our surprise when we discovered it was Christian Louboutin who collaborated with Michael Halpern to custom design footwear for the fall/ winter 2018-19 collection for London Fashion Week.

Halpern worked with Christian Louboutin and celebrity stylist Patti Wilson to turn models into daring, high-glamour rock and roll stars in gritty dresses, mix matched prints and lots of shine.

Halpern’s muse was the socialite and sartorial rule breaker Nan Kemper. The collection revolved around her love of super flare trousers, miniskirts paired with basic tees and tailor made coats and jackets.

The Halpern fall/ winter 2018-19 collection focused on florals. Peonies and animal prints appeared as recurring themes on clothes and shoes as embellishment and metallic fabric treatments.

Christian Louboutin’s thigh high boots, ankle boots and mules matched perfectly and acted as a compliment to the collection because they were created in the same vibrant palette of colors and patterns.

The playful mules were a highlight for us with contrasting color block fragments and multi-colored firework sequins.

We noted Halpern also featured ankle boots in the brands heritage zebra flip motif.
