If something is considered extremist or very different from anything that has come before it, it is called radical. The Maria Escoté fall/ winter 2018-19 collection of wet-look plastic embellished miniskirts and matching jackets, sweeping long dresses in hypnotic patterns and metallic silver tunics and matching leggings would arguably fit that description.
The collection is deeply influenced by the 1960s when the younger generation opposed the Vietnam War and rallied together in social protest. Mother and daughter fashions were radically different, and so were their beliefs.
