We love ASOS. And the new ASOS maternity wear for Spring 2018 offers great key pieces for mothers to style themselves uniquely. To prove it, we chose five celebrity street style queens as our muses and we created individual looks using the new ASOS maternity collection.
Let’s start with the biggest queen in music, Beyonce.
No one dresses a baby bump quite like Queen Bey! We remember how for her first pregnancy Bey made florals for spring groundbreaking. So we paired the ASOS floral maternity t-shirt with their maternity culottes. We turned up the glam with floral inspired jewels and accessories and a cool denim blazer embellished with a touch of fur – just like Bey would do.
Blake Lively’s always been known for her standout Hollywood style, but her maternity style was equally epic. While expecting her first child, James, Blake Lively proved she could still master street style as a chic first-time mom-to-be. We wanted to repeat one of Blake’s monochromatic looks, so we paired the ASOS maternity jumpsuit with chic black accessories. The touch of gold accessories is in homage to Blake’s lovely golden tresses.
We remember Serena Williams’ pregnancy glow was stunning. The tennis champion surprised and delighted us when she traded in her usual sporty attire for sexier looks. To capture the same feeling, we chose the ASOS all-over-print dress and accessorized it with luxurious accessories for our own super sexy mom-to-be look.
Michelle Monaghan had a cool modern approach to maternity wear. To mimic the look, we chose the ASOS maternity yoga-inspired stretch pant and paired them with simple elegant flats in a bright color. We couldn’t resist adding a fashion-forward carry-all (this one is by Jeremy Scott for Longchamp Paris) and a chic modern fedora.
While pregnant Kelly Rowland traded her ultra glam red carpet looks for down to earth denim and white tees. And it was amazing. We loved the unexpected touches like a handkerchief in her hair and luxe handbag. We tried our hardest to repeat the relaxed look Kelly Rowland did so well. We paired the ASOS maternity denim with a soft cotton t-shirt. We found our own handkerchief in a beautiful print for a touch of luxury to this otherwise super simple look.
