First Look: Rowan Blanchard’s Book “Still Here”, Poet Rupi Kaur and Writer Jenny Zhang Contribute.

Rowan Blanchard is a teen actress on the hit show The Goldbergs and soon she will mark the big screen in an Ava DuVernay directed film A Wrinkle in Time. Rowan is also a role model. She is a strong voice lifting from inside a growing teen community of politically conscious young people in America. And, she is one of our Top 33 Culture-Shapers of 2018.

Her first book, Still Here features art and writing from her favorite photographers, poets, and friends who inspire her, like the poet Rupi Kaur, photographer Gia Coppola and writer Jenny Zhang. It also includes personal journal entries and snapshots.

 I made something for The Teens😏❤️ that can somewhat be tangible evidence that we are still surviving 🏊‍♀️ growing up in this world … it is a mystery to me and I think I needed to make something that proved our existence.

Still Here is an intimate portrayal of modern girlhood and a thoughtful reflection on what it means to be a teenager in today’s world.

Right now the book is available for pre-order through Penguin Random House. It will be available for purchase everywhere starting February 13th.
