Yohji Yamamoto Introduces Japanese Silk Screened Street Wear At Paris Fashion Week Men’s 2018.

Yohji Yamamoto remains one of the most influential names in Japanese fashion. For fall/ winter 2017-18 Yohji Yamamoto integrates military designs and silk screening to produce street influenced t-shirts, bags, and denim that has grown in popularity throughout Harajuku and Tokyo at large.

Yohji Yamamoto silk screens over traditional cloth like pinstripe wool creating cool coats and jackets for the office and for casual wear.

Silk screening is also applied to trousers and aprons.

Yamamoto paid homage to the popular silk screening method on t-shirts and formal button down shirts.
