I wake up at 7:30AM. I love the sun and I try to use as much day light as I can. First thing, I prepare coffee or if my husband does it before me I drink the coffee that my husband has prepared. I dress depending on my mood… whether it is sunny or not. I don’t go by rules, I don’t wear a uniform, and truthfully I don’t spend much time trying to decide what to wear every day.
I can say that I’m awake, just after my breakfast. Usually I eat sweet things, like biscuits, cupcakes… I’m not that sportive and I have never been. But I do have a Jack Russell Terrier, Pedro. My spiritual awaking exercise is to go out with Pedro and meet his friends in the park. He loves to have breakfast with my husband and me, so I give him his biscuits in the morning while we are having breakfast.

Some days I sketch for 10 – 12 hours without any break. When I’m inspired like that I try not to stop creating, I try not to lose the positive waves. Till 6 months ago I had an office. It was like 20 min away from my house by car. But now I have a home office. I work a minimum 8 hours every day. When I am working I am so “in to it” and it’s my inspired period, most times I don’t even remember which day of the week it is and I don’t take weekends or holidays away.

I always do dinner with my husband. Now that I have a home office, I can cook while working. I love to cook and I love to have those 30-45 minutes with my husband at dinner to talk about our day and spend time with each other. I’m so lucky to have a husband who worked in the fashion business and knows how it works. He is my number one fan and my partner in this project. So we live my project totally together and he is in it as much as me.
Miahatami for me is my way to show how beautiful and interesting my country is. Most people do not know much about Iran and I created this project so I can bring my culture to people through the fashion & design world.

To end my day we, me and my husband Michele, love to watch movies before going to sleep. So after dinner I prepare a cup of herb tea for each of us and we watch a movie together.
