Nicola Formichetti Lends His Famous Face To Baby Brasa, And We Know Why

Three words, Chef Franco Noriega

Nicola Formichetti is rarely seen outside the Diesel brand world but for Franco Noriega, the hot Peruvian chef of Baby Brasa coming soon to New York’s downtown area, Nicola made an exception.

BABY BRASA, a lively, authentic Peruvian Rotisserie, offers an intimate eating experience where there are no walls between food lovers and the chef. Noriega, known for cooking in the nude (or very close to it), studied at the International Culinary Center in New York and later banked big names in New York society’s social scene including MoMA and Bergdorf Goodman.

As a chef Noriega’s passion revolves around healthy delicious food! And thanks to his culinary mastery skills and his unique social media account (345,000 Instagram followers) the chef has the attention of the media world which includes repeat appearances on Ellen and Wendy Williams with steamy results.

To draw (more) attention to his new restaurant’s big debut Noriega created a line of “Baby” Brasa t-shirts and yesterday posted insta-story videos of a photo shoot with the famous Formichetti (former costume director for Beyonce and Lady Gaga respectively) who flew all the way to Brooklyn to attend.

Diesel creative director Nicola Formichetti, left, at the Baby Brasa photo shoot in New York modeling the new ‘Baby’ Brasa t-shirt.

The 2nd Baby Brasa eatery will open at 129 Allen Street, downtown New York. The best way to stay up to date on the new location opening is to follow Noriega’s personal account on Instagram.

In addition to Baby Brasa updates Noriega’s video Instagram stories include the model-chef waking up in his Brooklyn apartment in nothing but a smile.
