Duvetica combines aesthetics with utility wear

Penned by Roman Kozak

Duvetica’s new collection shown at women’s fashion week was presented inside the brand’s great showroom. The concrete cave lined with sleek track lighting and marble flooring was the perfect backdrop for the rainbow of feather-light jackets and vests which lined the walls.

This season the designer wanted to help us be prepared for any unexpected weather changes in spring and even in summer. The brand created pieces with blazer-warm attachments inside which you could simply take off whenever you want. This function was applied to the internal structure of almost all of the items for the new collection from the traditional British trench coats to the knitwear pieces in cotton.

All of the samples shown in this collection are resistant to rain and wind climate changes. And Duvetica added a level of versatility to the offerings. The inserts can be interchanged allowing for casual pieces to be swapped with the more formal wear. Duvetica also proposed different lengths for the coats and jackets. The color palette surprised me the most – there were 24 different colors!

As a brand Duvetica has shown itself not only as a heritage brand but also one capable of innovation, between high quality and pure design.
