The Gimmy Baldinini women’s capsule collection for ss17 pays tribute to two celebrated stars and French divas; Brigitte Bardot and Joséphine Baker.
Bardot’s smooth, femme fatale eroticism takes the shape of colored-lacquer courts with mirror heels and floral design; the novel crocheted  leather envelops the sandal’s upper, showing off the ankles and creating a seductive, beguiling look.

Court sandals with vertiginous heels, plus graphic fringes and metallic effects reminds us about Joséphine (the black Venus) Baker’s sensual movements and the artistic currents of the first half of the 20th century.

Python is an outstanding feature of this collection and it’s combined with floral brushstrokes to make it even more unique.
