Fashion Shenzhen: A tale between Milan and Shenzhen design

Thanks to the Shenzhen Garment Industry Association’s project, a non profit organization that promotes and counsels the cities fashion brands, three big Chinese names and eighteen young creatives designers enlivened the last day of MFW.

Opening the show was the Ellassay collection, a classic-chic feminine line characterized by their outstanding use of soft pink and salmon colors.

Second on show was La Pargay, a brand founded by Lai Rui- one of the top 10 emerging designers in China whose known for his play with black and white textures and tones. This season La Pargay offered us a rock-metropolitan collection characterized by a fusion of oriental design and occidental aesthetic.

Closing this event was XieHaip, with his sartorial prêt-à-porter collection that shows us the ancient and refined splendor of Chinese culture through long white dresses enriched by Chinese alphabet letters.

The purpose of this event was to create a strong bond between Milan and Shenzhen and to develop the commercial interests between the two fashion cities, bringing into Milan the most characteristic Shenzhen designers in the land.
