In the warm atmosphere of the Bagatti-Valsecchi museum, the intense, bold colors of Morocco, it’s artisanal traditions and the power of French painter Matisse inspired this ss17 Bertoni 1949 collection.
Hand painted and embroidered Moroccan motifs, including stars and carpet-inspired patterns, as well as interwoven textures are rendered in a deep color palette such as sage green with touches of saffron and orange.
Maxi duffle bags, handbags and crossbody style bags were embellished with fringe and realized in French leather, and the precious French calf is realized on the new tote’s charming bag.
Brave is the plunge by Bertoni 1949 in the use of upscale alligator that enhances the luxurious appeal of the seasonal offerings.
