Calico crafts bespoke wallpapers which combine artisanal methods from the decorative arts. The New York based brand founded in 2013 by Nick and Rachel Cope has recently signed an exclusive deal with Sé interiors. Calico made the London-based furniture label their exclusive purveyor for the UK.

Their method-based wallpaper designs (a type of paper marbling) have spanned the globe. The arts of Suminagashi and Ebru, from Japan and Turkey centuries ago, was the basis of their first collection and continues into their subsequent collections. The heritage brand builds upon these traditions, incorporating new techniques, materials and technologies, exploring the possibilities of gradients, metallics, woven natural fibers, and recently, NASA telescope imagery.
