This is Chromat’s sophomore collection and their trendy utility sport designs are even better than their first. Chromat doesn’t skip out on tailoring when addressing a woman’s shape and functionality needs, this includes considering the fit for all shapes and all functionality needs.

Chromat’s magic is Becca McCharen-Tran’s background in architecture and her colorful lifestyle. They are put to full use and contribute to her breakout design aesthetic in a very saturated market.

Backstage before the show McCharen-Tran shared that Olympic gold medalists Katie Ledecky and Simone Manuel were the inspiration for this most recent collection. This season McCharen-Tran attempted to blend sport utility functionality with popular street style design.
For example the sleek neoprene sport bras and pullovers in pop colors with black mesh inserts would look good at the gym or at any trendy New York rooftop pool & bar.
