Sarah Burton and Jamie Hawkesworth embark on a journey for the Alexander McQueen Fall 2016 campaign. The famed Burton and noted photographer share a mutual love for British nature and wildlife, and their trip leads to Scotland and the Shetland Islands, the northernmost point of the country..

The landscape is surreal and intoxicating, and emblematic of the brand’s romantic story and search for long-lasting love. The campaign images reflect the wild and beautiful Scottish terrain in mostly black and white. Featured protagonist Mica Aganaraz wears ghostly black ruffles, sparkling fabrics and nature prints as she poses on a lonely beach or by ruined houses or by great stretches of scrubby land.
