Ill-fitted shapes and awkward necklines were done apurpose for the Marni Spring 2017 show.

The models walked in expertly executed tattered shirts and shorts with accordion style briefcases large enough to carry a laptop or even a desktop drive. The clothing looked bar-coded as if the one black stripe, slashed across the body from one end to the other, held the offending piece together.

Models sported pale skin and slightly shaggy hair emphasizing their disheveled appearance and connoting the idea of a worker whose life involves too much screen time and not enough sun.
