Pat McGrath’s new Skin Fetish highlighter already has a wait list
Last October world renowned beauty artist Pat McGrath launched her very first product, which sold out in minutes, and the world has eagerly anticipated the next big product release.
And now the wait is over. Pat McGrath announced on instagram this month that her latest product, Skin Fetish 003, a highlighting kit that comes in golden and nude will be released online and in stores at Sephora.
After teasing the three-piece highlighting set on contour queen Kim Kardashian’s app, McGrath announced that it will be available on April 26 though PatMcGrath.com. The site even has a wait-list area ready for your email address to be added.
And Skin Fetish 003 will also be coming to select Sephora stores and Sephora.com in May.
This is the 3rd product by Pat McGrath. The first launch of Pat McGrath Lab 001 in October 2015 featured a highly pigmented gold eye shadow that was offered with a spatula, mixing liquid, and a container so you could DIY your own formula ($40). Only 1,000 units were available, and they sold out on her website within minutes.
Next, she created a set dubbed Phantom 002, which dropped in mid-December for the holiday season. It included party-ready, jewel-tone shadows in copper, gold, and fuchsia. These saturated powders could be cocktailed with the included black eye gloss, gel liner, blender brush, and flat brush. The 1,200 kits for $250 a pop also sold out rapidly. People were willing to pay that much for Pat’s creations. That is pretty impressive considering it was her first time making her own makeup.
