And she’s back! Miuccia Prada’s pre-fall 2016 Harlequin collection, which showed during Milan Mens Fashion Week, is a strong push forward for the Prada brand which has been behind in the polls for the last few seasons. Miuccia’s preference for intellectual fashion took a twisted turn for pre-fall with this schizophrenic showing featuring a more playful and sensual side of Prada without sacrificing the art concept nature of the brand.
For the collection Miuccia collaborated with artist Christophe Chemin on prints. Chemin’s allegorical drawings were splashed on romantic, oversized white shirt dresses with undulating hems.
The women’s ensembles closely echoed the wayward, windblown allure, sexed up with high heels and cool patterned tights.
