4 ways Gucci cruise 2016 bags offer versatility

But it is the selection of heritage purses, from structured 18-hour city totes to leather travel bags, that answers our call for versatility. Titled the “Double Hero collection, the bags come in over 20 different textile, shape and trim variations. The four styles featured below caught our attention for their functionality and design.

For daytime: These structured fabric bags, in the classic GG logo canvas, are the perfect 18-hour citybags for daytime wear. Style variations include fold-over flap closures in leather with gold metal finishes, adjustable chain straps, and leather trim in coral, black, beige or ivory.

For the weekend: These weekend bags are perfect for the city, or for suburban living.  The chic bags are made from Nappa leather, feature a burnished bamboo handle and the “Gucci” and “Made in Italy” logo is hand painted in gold. This edition includes the Nappa leather backpack with fringe details and the Nappa leather shoulder bag with detachable chain strap.

For events: The seasonal new edition to the Gucci Cruise 2016 collection is the Dionysus Arabesque shoulder bag.  This statement making bag is perfect for ladies who lunch.  The classic Gucci logo canvas peeks from beneath the Arabesque lace pattern trim made from Nappa leather.  As seen on the the runway, the bags, available in black or coral, include a silver closure with dual tiger heads and an adjustable chain strap.  The matching wallet has an all around zipper closure also with Nappa leather trim.
