Chic Upcycle E-Tailer, The Vestiaire Collective, Launches A Wardrobes for Women Initiative.

Popular shopping network The Vestiaire Collective announces a new initiative for humanitarian association Women for Women International. The new charity called Wardrobes for Women auctions apparel donations from female icons in film and fashion to raise money that helps women from war-torn countries rebuild their lives.

Participants donating garments include fashion icons Keira Knightley, Lena Dunham, Diane Kruger, Chloe Sevigny, Dree Hemingway, Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o and Emma Watson, Olivia Palermo, Caroline Issa, Charlotte Dellal and Chiara Ferragni.

Since 1993 Women for Women International has supported more than 430,000 women who’ve survived the atrocities of wars fought in the most dangerous areas of the world. The annual training program designed by the association aims to give these women the opportunity to acquire vocational skills and help them achieve a stable income to take care of their families.
