This stunning light fixture is the vision of an English architect (Coombes) and an Italian designer (Giopato). Their inspiration was light, delicate soap bubbles. The design duo commissioned the famed master glassmakers of the Venetian island of Murano to produce the Bolle fixtures.

Bocci, the Vancouver- and Berlin-based contemporary design and manufacturing company, introduced the 73 series at the Paris show. Each one-of-a-kind piece results from blowing liquid glass into a folded, heat-resistant ceramic fabric container. As the molten glass cools, it hardens into textural shapes. A flat LED light is strategically positioned to diffuse light throughout the glass.
