J. W. Anderson‘s sophisticated pre-fall 2016 collection featured puffed proportions, lace touches, glossy textiles and strong color-blocking.
Boiled wool knits, done up in decorative effects, featured ruched details across the front and back. Volume came in the form of little balloon tops and skirts, and longer curving dresses, their sleeves and skirts encircled by zippers.

Leather designs were the standout this season which came in short rounded jackets trimmed with underwear lace, or with dark dress edged in ruffles. Other adornments included pearl studs on cotton trousers, and tops with Bakelite and metal bows dotted across the front.
