Transparency was a major trend for the Summer 2015 fashion week season. And it continues into the Fall 2015 season as well. And, since we’re keeping score, it also crept onto the Spring 2016 runways. So, I think it is safe to say, this is a trend that clearly has longevity.
But transparency didn’t just apply to gowns, shoe trends of all kinds were treated to PVC and mesh materials to create transparent shoes. The best were the sophisticated and unusual shoe designs that focused on the meticulous and elaborate work of the shoe. These shoes will make their way through fall, into the winter holiday, and the 2016 New Years Eve parties, and beyond.
Here is a selection of the best transparency shoes, from Dolce & Gabbana to Paul Andrew.
