The Vétements Spring 2016 collection was held in a Chinatown dining institution in Paris called Le Président.  The neon lights and plywood flooring set the mood for the show which was consistent with past outings of oversize tailoring, loosely flowing floral apron dresses, and sweatshirts and jeans artfully cut up and dis-proportioned.

Footwear was very important: waderlike boots, oversize and crumpled, with pointy cowboy boot shapes came in floral patterns to coordinate with vintage-y print dresses. Slinky socklike over-the-knee boots with a heel shaped like a lighter came in nespra acid tones to highlight the clothes.
