Castello Di Velona is a UNESCO world heritage site, the location, design and views provide a unique sensory experience:

“It is believed that our ancestors have guided our actions during the three years spent renovating and extending the estate. Looking out at the Castle’s position from above we became aware of its North/South alignment. We designed every space in relation to the position of the sun, in order to give guests the possibility of appreciating every inch of this place through the changes in light during the day”

The warm mineral water that gushes from the Monte Amiata volcano is used for Castello Di Velona’s Oli SPA. It is the warmest water in the region and is known for its unique mineral properties.

The same natural reserves is used for the two outdoor swimming pools and the two indoor Jacuzzi pools. And it is an option for private bathrooms in Castello Velona’s larger suites.

The 16,000 square foot spa & resort features travertine marble, a prestigious material in Tuscany. The spa includes five treatment cabins, two Turkish baths, sauna and ‘emotional shower’ stalls, all are designed to offer sensory delights.
