Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne’s Public School Spring 2016 collection featured long, lean layers of athletic minimalism cut to convey a brisk forward motion. Models were clad in aerated pilings of spare vests and trenches over wide liquid pants and dresses in crepe, sheer cotton, mesh, silk and nylon.

Everything was primly finished and detailed with elevated sport effects, such as decorative toggle cords, loose straps and precise slits that emphasized movement and lightness.
