Recently, a new wave of young Finnish designers have gained notice from the international fashion scene. Heikki Salonen, a graduate of London’s Royal College of Art, will be lending his Finnish touch to the Paris-based fashion house, Maison Martin Margiela.
Salonen, who formerly worked at Erdem and Diesel, has been appointed to the design team of the Diffusion Line for MM6. The line is said to debut during London Fashion Week.
