Among the highlights in this year’s festival: the world premiere of Joshua Beamish’s “Surface Properties,” performed by American Ballet Theatre dancers to a score by Marc Mellits and Michael Gordon; the world premiere from Chamber Dance Project, Dancers & Musicians, “Wild Swans,” by Darrell Grand Moultrie; and Emery LeCrone’s “Partita No. 2 in C Minor,” a world premiere danced by New York City Ballet stars Sara Mearns and Russell Janzen alongside ABT dancers Stella Abrera and Alexandre Hammoudi. The festival culminates with Amy Seiwert’s Imagery presenting new works scored by Max Richter, Jeff Buckley and Holcombe Waller.
