In a recent interview with Vogue Italia Pharrell Williams talked about everything from being inspired by Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs to launch a fashion line to announcing a new gastronomy project in Miami. He also talked about his long standing collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld and the Chanel brand. While discussing his relationship with Lagerfeld Pharrell revealed the two of them will collaborate on an environmental positivity project using Pharrell’s Bionic Yarn, a textile developed in 2015 through his ‘Raw For the Oceans’ project.

Unfortunately Pharrell kept mum on the details, “I can’t get into what Bionic Yarn [the recycled plastic textiles company Williams invested in] is working on now with Chanel other than to say it’s super luxury and they are incredibly supportive of the effort…”
