Designer Tokujin Yoshioka, winner of multiple awards and with pieces exhibited at the MoMA, Cooper Hewitt in New York, the Victoria & Albert among others, collaborates with Issey Miyake once again to design the brand’s new store located in London’s Mayfair district.

Tokujin Yoshioka was previously commissioned by the brand to create transparent mannequins for a fashion retrospective titled “Forty-five years of innovative fashion and design by Issey Miyake” in 2016.

For the new store in London, Tokujin Yoshioka designs a futuristic space: minimal, clean and simple. The historic building is distributed over three floors and is completely renewed with glass structures, geometric walls and natural stone tilework.

The new store opened early June. It’s located at 33 Brook Street, London, W1K 4HG.
