With almost 200 countries to choose from there are good reasons you should add Thailand to the top of your list and one of those reasons is The NAKA Phuket.
This 94 pool villa resort is located on a secluded beach in a natural setting with unspoiled hillside views, and 10 km. away Phuket’s bustling nightlife can be found in Patong.
The villas of NAKA Phuket raise the bar of Thai architecture and design, instead of opting for traditional bungalows or a blocky high-rise, Duangrit Bunnag created a forest of stone and glass villas. At the center of The Naka are four wooden pavilions, the pagoda-like lobby is built around a series of upright columns making the most of natural ventilation.

One of the best parts about The NAKA Phuket resort is the privacy. The low-profile villas (available with one, two and three bedrooms) are hidden among the trees, with simple stone walls.

Inside the villas, amber-colored floorboards run parallel to the hillside, and the beds are aligned so that you can watch the waves, listen to the rustle of the trees, and find your inner equilibrium.

Outside, each of the secluded living spaces has a private pool attached. The Bunnag design feels like the outdoor lounging areas and pools are floating in midair.

The main building has an Olympic-sized infinity pool and three restaurants, including The Wiwa, which sits along a natural watercourse that Bunnag ingeniously integrated into his final design.
