See-through materials such as plastic and acrylic have been showing up on everything from bags to evening shoes. Chanel’s Spring 2018 runway was covered in plastic, most notably the shoes and bags, and lately we’ve noticed plenty of people wearing clear coats, hats and shoes on the street.
